dude.. for the record.. miles davis met Charlie parker and dizzy gillespie years before he got into drugs... and both bird and dizzy took him inmediately to their own shows.. no drugs involved.. how do you call that? luck? huh.. he was the best damn trumpet player. period.

miles definitely experimented with drugs to the point where he got others hooked, but he wasn't the reason for parker's exposure. it's true though that miles was often very sketchy in that department and wasn't a healthy influence for the musicians he worked with.

what is wrong with you? you wanna be fucked with dead black legend of music and you afraid that some rumors for drugs will spoil you style? =================== lets be serious i dont know anything about drug & i dont care. it was his problem, and he like it. so why you interfair. you can help him ( if he wants) do it. Listen to his music, feel lucky for that, live him alone.

I'm sure you barely have an idea of who Miles was. Comments like that are completely unnecessary.

Pardon my clarity, allow the other brother to respond if he will speak? By the way who is the other, a friend or one of the numerous critics on the you tube blog.

did i say i didn't like miles davis????
TheGoldrock1 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Miles record speaks for itself. What is it that you didn't like about the genius Miles Davis , sir?
tkdmaster3bd (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
yeah except this other brother here thinks miles sucks. i full-heartedly disagree with him.
TheGoldrock1 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Miles was a well trained musician who had the respect of Bird, Trane, Dexter, Rollins, Monk and many more. That's all I need to know.
