sounds like jazz flutist needs to go practice on the ol' skin flute.

you can hear Keith singing while he plays. He can imagine the notes he wants to play. Thats a skill you can often find by pianists.

Yes, I'm being a bit harsh on Keith, trying to understand what everyone hears. Spent most of my life listening to classical pianists so am used to more dynamics, space, stylistic variation and melody. (I find his melody somewhat dry, but maybe just me). I'll keep listening (and learning). Heard the Koln back in the 70's (?) - I think I found it quite interesting back then.

If you want space then listen to the Koln concert... thats epically spacious Jarrett and muuuch calmer than this.

Does anyone know if stupid comments ever stop sometimes ? Or is it continuous hammering too ?
But to my opinion I think it's continuous genius concerning Jarrett.

Is "space" what you're calling it when you run out of ideas? Try not to be so envious of the talents of others and maybe you'll improve and have a career! By the way, if you were actually listening and not just whining you'd hear numerous "spaces" (e.g. 2:58). Unlike you, Keith hasn't run out of ideas. I suggest you try a new profession cuz a great musician listens and learns.
