Listen carefully and maybe (at least you got a chance) you'll understand ...

I don't know who Mark Davis is, but theres no reason to have two bass players.
Check out ant of my bands videos for a lesson on playing jezz.

I don't know why, but it just seems so weird, watching a young Marcus play.

I love the way that Foley's introducing Sanborn's solo. It looks and sounds great.

Really? That sure as hell doesn't sound like a bass. I've heard like Wooten play an alto bass that's tuned a perfect fourth up, but that sounds much more like a guitar to me.
I also wouldn't beleive everything you read on wiki, I could go an change that right now if I wanted to.

That is a bass, not a tenor guitar.
The dude playing it is Foley, from Arrested Development. He has a web site, wiki entry.

Miles Davis... Marcus Miller... David Sanborn... I don't even know who the other guys are but they're funky as hell too.
Possibly one of the funkiest assemblies of musicians of all time.
That tenor guitar sounds SICK! Why can't TV be like this today? haha
