love Miles interpretation of this classic MJ song "Tutu" was a great Electronic Jazz ALBUM Marcus Miller did a great on the sonics and gave Miles a way to Interpret 80's black pop and pop music with Cyndi Lauper's"Time after Time" Critics really didn't get Miles in the 80's either when I became a fan of Miles Davis Music.

I remember reading in Miles' autobiography that Michael wanted to work with him (and vice versa) but it wasn't in the cards at the time. Likewise with Prince. I never thought I'd say it, but this tops Michael's version which explains MJ wanting to work with him for future projects. I still play this as opposed to the MJ original.

Guys.. so much of his stuff was better than this. like... this is cool, but he was so much more than this. listen to the stuff he did with parker. that was miles at his finest. also, i dont think Coltrane would have touched this music. He was a swing man. there is so much more to swing than this, i just wish more people would recognize that.

God I'd love to see what 'Trane could've done with that song.

I wonder if Miles could find a song today that he wanted to sing. Michael was such a genius, his songs sound great in every genre: jazz, classical and even latino. RIP my love!
