yo germzneverdie, have u listened to shorter like at all? listen to some of his compositions like speak no evil, footprints, fee fi fo fum, nd witch hunt. maybe ull get a better impression of shorter's genius

That's a bit deep for me! I write whilst listening to milestones from my legends of jazz collection. It seems I have stired a nest here and I had no wish to. I am not critisising Mr Davis, he is accepted as a legend so who am I to argue. It's just some people like steak some don't no one is right or wrong just different tastes and I prefer trad jazz that's all. You have no more right to say deep purple are stupid than I have to critisise Miles...Take care thanks for the comments.
